My view is that the state of interdependence is what most of us should achieve. I am not much of a cook, but I have computer knowledge. Others are just the opposite. Some have both.

We all need help in some situations. that is true whether we are blind or sighted. My wife is sighted, but we both need help if home repairs are necessary. To me, this is just human nature.

Unfortunately, our society stresses individualism so much that the concept of interdependence often goes unstressed.
