Hi all,
Interesting combination of titles and very 60ish. <smile> If I were
going to choose classics, I'd choose anything by The Saints: e.g.
Theresa The Little Flower, Neuman, Thomas Moore, Aquinus, Seven Story
Mountain by Thomas Merton, anything by Black Elk, M. Scott Momaday(sp),
Works by Gandhi, or some of the other Asian and mystic writers of the
Jewish and Moslem faiths. I would read anything by Catherine Marshall.
There's lots more, if you really, really want mysticism try Catherine
Emrich. The Passion of Christ movie was based on her visions. Also
try finding anything by Mother Basilea Schlink.
