Hi everyone. Gerald has told me that it's on topic to discuss books we'd like to add to the collection including the topic of classic mysteries. So now I'm curious about a couple of things. NLS has gotten rid of many of their titles that were recorded onto vinyl records, so this project is especially dear to me. If we worked together to add some mysteries to the Bookshare collection, has anyone seen a site where we can get lists of books that are in certain series? I'd like to see a list of all of the Perry Mason mysteries so I could start looking for books that we don't have and try to do them in order. I like reading books in order because characters evolve and change over time, sometimes gaining new friends or new traits that you don't see in the earliest books. The first book about Nero Wolf and Archie has Archie talking to a different friend at the newspaper while later books involve the same contact as a minor but colorful character in the stories.

Additionally, have any of you seen a site that lists award winners from the past, awards like the Edgar and Golden Dagger? I have to admit that I never paid attention to awards because I just like good books. It seems like adding award-winning mysteries from earlier years to the collection might be a nice approach too.
