Well, ya know, GCindy always ends up posting any requests for the wish list
on bksvol. So yeah, they do get there. <smiling>

Hi Jamie,

I'm thinking that there are enough volunteers here on the bookshare-discuss
list so that any wishes and other non-volunteer issues requiring our
assistance would get over to the other list as needed. The idea is
essentially to ensure we all stay on topic. I'd rather see volunteers
focused on scanning and validating instead of wading through almost a
hundred messages per day.

As enjoyable as it is for all of us to participate in this project, I feel
we should also keep in mind that it is an important resource that we should
all take very seriously. Let's seriously have a great time, if that makes
sense... :-)

I kind of feel that since this is the list Bookshare has designated for
which a member must post a wish, then this is the list where a person should
post when that book has been scanned and submitted, so the requesting person
can be aware that their wish is about to be fulfilled.

I think it's backwards to have this list be the one where wishes go to,
since the people who scan are mainly on the other list, but that's what
Bookshare has designated.
