Hi. Yes, there is an excellent program for converting pdf to text. It is
called xpdf. It includes a program called pdftotext. The problem is that
it is command line based. It works fine under Windows but you have to not
mind a command line interface. Get it here, or if the below link doesn't
work write me off list.
