You don't even have to do that. All you have to
do is press record and the BP creates the folder.

If you've reformatted the CF card, then that should only affect the card itself, not the software of the BP. You should still have the ability to record memos, just no folder. Try syncing it up, maybe just put a textfile or something on the card. WHen you do this, it will automatically replace the original folders on the card. After this is done, try recording again.

My name is Donna Brown. I am knew to this list, and fairly new to the Bookport. I am a teacher of the visually impaired. I am in the process of teaching my students how to use the Bookport at the same time as I learn to use it. Yesterday while a student and I were working with it, we accidentally re formatted the flashcard. Somehow, we lost the memos folder and the ability to record memos. How can I repair this problem?
