With a bit of work, you can have a kind of play list. Just organise the
songs you want by numbering them and put them in a folder onto the bookport.
Then go into settings and set automatic file advance to yes. The songs will
play in order.

Yep it would.  I explain it that way, too.  I put music on it sometimes,
when I want to go outside, sit, and jam.  It’s perfect.  I just wish there
was a way to make a play list.  However, since the Book Port wasn’t really
built for that purpose, I understand why that capability isn’t there.

Yeah, plus it's easier to explain to my geek friends if I say "like an iPod
for the blind" because they can understand that.  And I do put music on it,
just not much.
It would appeal to ipod-lusters like me.
