Windows used to recognize my BP as a removable disk, but after I installed a sandisc card reader, it hasn't come back, although the My computer list in Windows Explorer shows an extra number of items in the list. Rob Meredith has told me that as long as the transfer program launches, it doesn't matter. So, while I miss not seeing BP, it still works just fine and I can move stuff around if I wish by just putting the CF card in the card reader.
