And if Amy's suggestion about a firewall isn't the case, try rebooting the
computer. I've discovered that this can very often be the fix for a
situation where Book Port Transfer doesn't start and the BP isn't
recognized.

I am using my school's bookport here at home. I have installed bookport
transfer. When I connect the device, nothing happens. The device isn't
even recognized. I'm using windows XP. Any help would be appreciated.
