I'm not sure what is going on here, since usually the letter "D" is usually assigned to the CD-ROM drive and not Book Port. The Book Port is usually e or f or whatever is available. Try going into the Setting menu on the Book Port itself and make sure that File Lock is set to "No." Then, the next time you connect to the PC the Book Port Transfer will be able to update your manual, which is what it is trying to do.

I don't know what this means or what to do.
