Kurt: You can download the latest beta version of the software at: www.aph.org/beta/bp_beta.exe=20 You can download the latest beta version of the firmware (required for the = software above) at: www.aph.org/beta/bpfw_beta.exe=20 We do not have an exact date for the official release. Let's just say = soon. Speeding up audio while sending is a bit slow, depending on several = factors. The good news is that it is usually worth it for two reasons: 1. The resulting file is smaller on the device, leaving room for more = stuff. 2. You don't have to read at normal speed. A side bennifit is that the actual file transfer happens quicker because = the file is smaller. So, there is kind of a give and take going on. Those = who feel that the entire transfer is too slow might consider using just = one of the two compression options. For example, if you skip pause = compression, the transfer will go a bit faster. How long it will be (approximatly before the real version comes = out.=20 Also, it appears that the transfer tool will speed up your audio but is very slow. What part of the program enables this. I have been reading from double to triple speed for years and would like to know. One last question. Is there a place you can go and look at posts that have not been sent in digest? I like the digest, but would like to go up and look at the posts for replies. Thanks for all. Kurt=20
