Okay, Rob, thanks. I thought there was some kind of spoken message, but

could be wrong about that. In any case, it's not working right--just
this
past Sunday, I pressed D+E+F, received the double beep, removed the old
batteries, and when I inserted the new ones, I got the "Defaults
restored"
announcement and had to reset all of the things that I customize.
