hi: same here. tried both yesterday and today. got the transfer software update but no firmware update.

Like many others, I did not receive the firmware update after installing the
Book Port Transfer software, disconnecting, then reconnecting my Book Port
to the computer. I wonder if there's a glitch for those of us running the
last beta release.
