I can attest to this. I just received the update with no problem and I do also beta test.

Like many others, I did not receive the firmware update after
installing the
Book Port Transfer software, disconnecting, then reconnecting my Book
Port
to the computer. I wonder if there's a glitch for those of us running
the
last beta release.
