Hi Francis:

A plextalk PTR-1 player / recorder is a daisy player / recorder. It can play 
and/or record to either a CD or flash memory.

These recorders, which are not cheap, are available from either RFB&D or 
IRTI (innovative Rehabilitation Technologies Inc.).
