The external speaker is also a hard cover CD wallet. There is a small compartment where the CD player would go if we were using the speaker/CD wallet for that purpose. Instead, we put the Bookport in that compartment... At least, I do. Then... you just zip up the case... the CD wallet, and you are good to go.

It's a simple matter of opening the clips and lifting out the CD sleves. I found taking them out to be no problem for this totally blind person.
