Y'all, I really hate this. Let me tell ya I do.

I've been using Eudora since I first got on the Internet in 1997 and
within the past two months or so, I've had to change to Outlook Express.
Why?

Well, for some unknown and strange mysterious reason, one morning, I
went to get my mail and I got this weird message:

Warning! The Cox Server does not recognize the Eudora Server and will not
let it pass. Access and permission denied!"

What? Say that again? Yeah, and from that time on, whether sending or
receiving E-Mail in Eudora it happened. I was, needless to say, royally
ticked off! All this time and I've been able to use good old Eudora and now,
no go?

Went to Cox Tech Support and got this answer:

"Well, we don't support Eudora! Go to Eudora tech support!"

I told them it was on their end because I'd made no changes in my
program!

About two weeks ago, I got another Cox tech to help me and man, he said:

"What? That's not right! Eudora's not a server! What's going on here?"

I told them i thoughtit was the latest upgrade in their software.

If you all have any ideas, pleaselet me know.

Curt Delzer told me to get the ESOTERIC.EPI and the old icons file and I
did that, so now Ihave the extra settings in Eudora to work with, but don't
know what in this world to do now. If anybody, and I do mean anybody, has
any suggestions, I'm ready for them to try.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled Eudora, but it will do that again, so
help, please. I'm set for the pop3 and not the imap accounts.

Take care and sorry for the long post.

Brenda
