Strawberry Pretzel Salad

CRUST:
2 c. ground pretzels
¾ c melted margarine
3 Tbsp sugar
Mix together. Press into a 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake 7-10 minutes at
350o. Allow to cool.
2nd LAYER:
1 (8 oz.) pkg cream cheese
1 small Cool Whip
1 c sugar
Cream together. Spread on top of crust.
3rd LAYER:
1 (6 oz.) pkg strawberry Jello
2 c boiling water
1 (16 oz.) pkg frozen strawberries
1 small can crushed pineapple, drained very well. (optional, don't use often
at all. doesn't need it)
Mix Jello with water. Add strawberries and pineapple. Let gel
slightly in fridge for about 40 minutes or so. Pour over cheese layer. Chill
until set. Top decoratively if taking away, or more cool whip, or whipped
topping of choice.
