Sorry, also meant to ask - does this scale work off mains power, or batteries?

If batteries, I presume you tried replacing them?

For interests sake, what does something like that cost in that part of the world?

Ask since, while I might be able to find something like that here, occasionally, or could otherwise import one in from overseas, if really needed it, all have done for now is take an old-school kitchen scale, with a mechanical operating basis, and I marked grooves on the dial so that when I put something like a roast, etc. into the dish on top, I can then feel where the needle is pointing, etc., but anyway.

Stay well

I know the talking kitchen scales have come down in price during the
last 10 or 12 years. so what is the best one to buy now? Where is
the best place to get it? I think I got mine at Independent Living
Aids. Others may have gotten theirs much later than me, so I'm
welcoming and open to new suggestions.
Thanks a bunch.
Most fortunate blessings,
Carolyn
