FREEZER BREAD and BUTTER PICKLES
Double recipe works well.

Before cutting vegetables, put into pan on stove:
2 cups sugar
1 cup white vinegar
1 Tbsp salt
1/2 tsp celery seed
--or 1/2 tsp pickling spice
Stir over medium heat until sugar is dissolved.

Let cool and then mix together:
7 cups Cucumber Slices
3 Onions, sliced thinly
1 green pepper, chopped

When liquid is cooled, pour over vegetables in bowl.
Divide into freezer containers and freeze.
Let set in freezer at least 2 weeks before serving.
