blind_html an odd outlook issue

Hello. I need a bit of help with outlook. My inbox shows 1 unread item all
the time yet there is nothing in my inbox that is unread. I'm using jaws 10.
And now, this results in other folders doing the same.
I use windows xpsp3 on an hp pivillion laptop.
