It's no problem. I really appreciate the fact that you sent this I just wanted
to place those warnings because I think people need to be cautious about what
they download as well as where they download it from. I also think that Merv's
comments are extremely valid. Some free programs, even from the vendors web
sight, could contain additional unwanted software that can really impact on the
systems performance. However, I wanted to pass this on in case some of the
files which are OK might be of use to someone. Hey, at least they have the nVDa
screen reader on that list, which I really appreciate it.

in case some of the titles are of use to any of you. I'd first like to add
my own comments and warnings.
First, the fact that I'm passing this on does not mean I endorse or even
approve of all of these programs. As a big example, you couldn't pay me
enough to install Adobe Flash Player on my computer and a link to that
program appears toward the top of this list.
Also, I will only download software if it comes from the page of the vendor
or company which creates and distributes it. One of the titles on this list
is an old version of MalwareBytes and I don't recommend that people download
this version. First, the detection in 2.2 is much better than 1.75. Also,
the link for this older version is from someone's Box account, which I
believe is a service similar to Dropbox. ust as I don't allow strangers into
my home, I don't allow software distributed by an annonymous individual on
my computer.
Finally, I have not used most of these packages and therefore can't
guarantee I can answer questions about the programs. That being said, I'm
grateful to Christina for sending this to me. Here we go.
