As a blind subscriber to bookshare I personally prefer volunteers work on validating and submitting and not on book reviews given the staff shortages bookshare experiences and the bottlenecks for approval which might occur if bookshare staff is asked to take on submitting the reviews we send in. It is difficult enough to add to the collection. I particularly ask sighted volunteers to use their talents where they can do the most good helping make new submits and validates possible rather than writing reviews. You, after all, can go to a library and read as many books as you like. Bookshare was created to give us those choices.
