I know we have western fans, but they seem to scan
more than validate. However, apparently there are a
lot of volunteers not on this list, so go ahead and
put them up. I enjoyed the one I validated for Rik or
Duane or whoever it was more than I expected. I'm
pretty open to most fiction, even if it isn't well
written. I've found it interesting, in validatingm to
note how the quality of writing varies; some extremely
popular authors don't write very well, in my opinion,
but the plot carries one along. Others, in a genre one
might not expect to be that good, write extremely
well. I've validated books in genres I normally don't
choose to read (fantasy and westerns and sci fi) and
find myself caught up in the story and enjoying the
books.
