Oh, silly me! Guess I should have looked before asking the question! I just assumed it would be complicated. :) Thanks Mayrie. Place your cursor in the table, anywhere in the table. Pres Alt+a to enter the table menu. Tab through until you find "convert to text". Hit enter. You will then be given a way to choose what to replace the tabs with. If you choose spaces, then tab to "ok" and hit enter, you'll be good to go. Happy converting! Please write again if I have forgotten a step, or your dialogue contains something different from what I describe. I'm writing from memory here, so may have missed something. Do you know if there's an easy way to do that in Word? If you leave it as a table, the braille translator will put each element of it on a separate line. Won't look so good and will make for a lot more scrolling on the braille display if it remains a table. The first page of it is formatted as a table, the second page as just text. I'm wondering what to do with this. I've never submitted a book with a table, so I guess my first question is what is the bookshare process going to do to this table? I'm especially thinking about the braille copy here. Guess my basic question is, should I leave the part of the table of contents that is in a table as a table, or should I do something else with it?
