I think you should convert it to text. If you leave it as a table, the braille
translator will put each element of it on a separate line. Won't look so good
and will make for a lot more scrolling on the braille display if it remains a
table.

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] question re formatting and tables

  Hi all,

I'm proofing a book where the table of contents spans two pages. The first
page of it is formatted as a table, the second page as just text. I'm
wondering what to do with this. I've never submitted a book with a table, so I
guess my first question is what is the bookshare process going to do to this
table? I'm especially thinking about the braille copy here. Guess my basic
question is, should I leave the part of the table of contents that is in a
table as a table, or should I do something else with it?

  Thanks,

  Donna
