Dave is talking about a maximum of ten to fifteen books out of a list of about 400 to 450 books. I do think validators who have hold for books on the list ought to take them within a reasonable amount of time. I notice for instance that Mary called Magdalene is still on the list even though it was supposed to go to a specific person. This lingering on the list was never the purpose behind "hold for". E.
