Yes. I'd like to echo these sentiments completely. It is quite gratifying
to work with a group containing a large number of sighted people who care
about accessibility for the blind. Thanks for all you do! :-)

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] hats off to our sighted volunteers

I want to send out a special happy Easter holiday greeting, especially to
the sighted volunteers amongst us, whoever you are.

Those of us who are bookshare users get the benefits of being able to read
books as they are put on the system, we get $2.50 taken off of our next
year's subscription, and we get to converse with like-minded book loving
folks.

However, the sighted volunteer has a thankless task. They can't read the
books they've worked so hard to get into the system, they don't get any
payment/credit for their effort, and they have to listen to us prattle on
about our dogs our canes and long dead technologies and NLS readers.

So, I'd like to take just a minute to thank our sighted volunteers. And I
ask my fellow bookshare members to join me.

Happy belated Easter.

Bob
