Hi all,

Um, people who feel violated by your method of finding their email address are either complete newbies to the net or they are just living with their heads in the sand. Any public list to which you subscribe, any number of web sites you visit, any information you put out on the net is archived somewhere. That's why you should never, ever post personal information like bank numbers or your SS number. If you're on the net, your email address is probably someplace where Google can find it. Feeling violated is stupid. Most email communications, even private email is sent in plain text. If somebody really wanted to see your email messages, they could. However, most of the time, your small messages are lost in the noise of the catteract of packets traveling from place to place on the net. It's not worth looking for you. Even so, be careful what you say on the net. Me, I leave my email and so on at the bottom of my messages because of my business. So folks can contact me any time. I do so knowingly.

Ann P.
