Hmm, Cindy, I recently validated the BSO copy of Rules of Prey and did just
as you said below. I didn't have any problems having the book get accepted.
Wouldn't there be a problem Keeping the BSO in the title after the book has
gone live on the site? Because I'm thinking that if someone did a search by
title wouldn't this exclude the BSO book unless the one doing the searching
knew to include it or unless the automated search engine Bookshare uses knew
to display results with BSO in their title?
Just a few pre-coffee thoughts.
Lisa
I didn't realize that. When I upload a validated BSO I've been deleting the BSO and writing in the Comments section that it's a replacement for one in the collection. I guess I'd better change my procedures. smile

The validator needs to leave the BSO so that Gustavo knows it is a replacement, but my concern is that it is left as it passes admin. approval and enters the list.
