I really like Disk World. I've read a few of them, and they are really
superb.

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] book request

Hi all,

Bookshare has a nearly complete collection of Terry Pratchett's
Discworld books, minus two. For those who don't know, the Discworld is
an enormous series of hilariously funny books about the Discworld, a
flat world which rides on the backs of four elephants, which in turn
ride on the back of a turtle. They poke a lot of fun at fantasy
novels, old detective movies, current events, politics, anything and
everything. (You can see my review of a few Discworld books here:
http://lightreads.livejournal.com/22216.html )

Anyway, Bookshare is missing Thud! (exclamation point included) and
Wintersmith. Thud! is another City Watch book about fundamentalist
conflict between dwarves and trolls, and Wintersmith is a young adult
title, sequel to A Hatful of Sky, which is already on Bookshare. Thud!
is out in paperback, though Wintersmith may still only be in
hardcover. If anyone can get their hands on these I'd be delighted to
validate.

Thanks!
Shayla
