I have noticed that conversion from KES to RTF does sometimes mess up page breaks slightly. Thank you for being willing to comment on it. I don't like to open the RTF version of a book I have scanned before submitting because i think I might introduce even more weirdness, so I don't know until too late that any page breaks were lost. I don't think blank pages are any more likely to go than full ones, but I don't have any proof.

Another thing that can happen, but wasn't the case in your book, it seems, is the loss of one blank page when there are two blank pages facing each other. Two page mode doesn't seem to be able to recognize the difference between one large blank page and two facing blank pages. Of course, I don't think that issue is at all serious and if you know it can happen you can easily add in the necessary page break to fix it as you check through your scan and find that page numbering goes screwy after a blank page.

Just checked my copy of Astra. I found that at least 1 blank page was missing when I checked between the .RTF copy I have and the .KES copy. Must have gone when I converted. I'll mention that on the K1000 list.
Thanks.

HI Garry:

Excellent scan. The only suggestion I have is that it would be easier for validators if blank pages are kept. It makes it easier to check that all pages are there and accounted for.
If you are rejecting a book, you have to click the upload button on the step 2 page and then look for the rejection button. Press enter on it and there will be a field to fill out asking the reason for the rejection. I usually locate the comments field and up arrow and check the radio buttons indicating the reason for the rejection. I also include a comment in the comments field explaining my reasoning.

It's the second book, the later version, I want looked at. What should I do for that to happen?
Sorry I messed it up. Apparently I mistook release for reject.

Hi Garry:

I guess you misunderstood my question. You submitted 2 copies of this book. So you will receive both an acceptance and a rejection notice for the same book.

Yes. I tried to reject the first copy and thought I had. How do you do that and where should I have found the instructions?
The new copy is good. See the comments field.
If You do happen to find anything I overlooked, let me know and I'll add it to my check list.

Hi Garry:

I noticed that you submitted 2 copies of Astra by Grace Livingston Hill. Was there a reason for submitting a second copy? I downloaded 1 copy yesterday and today I noticed another copy on the step 1 page. I have downloaded both copies. Please let me know if 1 copy is better than another.
Thanks.
