You might put love and heart symbol in parenthesis.

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] The heart symbol -- what do I do?

Hi all,

I'm hoping to finish proofreading this book tonight and hope someone here
can help.

The book has a sentence that reads "We heart Kitty", but the word heart is
actually not spelled out, but it is the symbol of a heart (just like the
bumper stickers). How do I represent this symbol in my correction? Right
now, the OCR software translated it as a V.

Help!!

Denise
