You don't need any indicators for page numbers. The numbers by themselves are sufficient. I don't know whether they were all added by hand or what. I haven't come across a publisher before who put the numbers in brackets. I know that if the software for conversion doesn't recognize page numbers as such, they won't be in the final book. I'm going to move the numbers to the tops of the pages, but Should I remove the brackets? What, in fact does the thing look for to make it see a page number rather than something to remove--I've just been putting the number by itself, but should there be some additional indicator? Thanks!
