Hi everyone!

I'm here to "sing in the choir", (smile).

I have to say I love those picture descriptions to as others do. It's not an easy thing to do, I have heard people say, and the volunteers who have the eyes to see pictures painstakingly give such vivid descriptions that I feel like I'm there with the characters when I read them. They are real gems in these books that wouldn't be nearly as rich without them.

When I was in school, the word "omitted" in my braille book became a "dirty word" to me, because I always wondered what I was missing by the omission, though I understood that it was not technically possible to include whatever it was that had to be omitted.
