Hi,
No, picture descriptions are not required for a book to be accepted into the
collection. So if you just can't get them then that's okay. They are
always nice to have because they enhance the story, but they aren't
essential. If you can find another person to work with to do the picture
descriptions that's great, but I know that it's not always possible for each
of us to have a describer around.
