Hi Christina,
I've been exactly in the position that you are in now. What
I did was to request picture descriptions. And, if and when no one
was willing, submitted the book as it was without them, since
descriptions weren't necessary to understanding the text, but a sort
of treat of an adition. Just what I've done in the past.
