Hi Judy,

You could leave the page numbering alone, proofread the book in all other
ways as usual, get it added to the collection, then download it to check if
the page numbering was handled properly. If it was, all is well. If not,
you can always ask Carrie to return the book to you for more editing, and
then put them all in one place or the other if you need to. That way you
don't go to the extra work before it's necessary.

I personally always put all of the page numbers either at the top or bottom,
except for pages containing chapter titles, but that is just so that when I
am making sure that all pages are present and numbered, I don't have to
remember where to look for the numbers from one page to the next. But
that's just me, and maybe most people don't get befuddled as easily as I
can.

Mayrie

Hi Lori, yup, I checked the manual, smile, but I'm recalling that the tool
sometimes barfs when there is a mix of page numbers at the top and bottom. I
know from my own experiences that it does fine moving all the page numbers
to the top if all of them are at the bottom of the pages. It's the pattern
where it alters from top to bottom every other page that has me worried.
