Hi Judy,

If I were doing the book I would put the page numbers either at the top or bottom, andot have them alternating. But this is just how I would do it.

Hi Lori, yup, I checked the manual, smile, but I'm recalling that
the tool sometimes barfs when there is a mix of page numbers at
the top and bottom. I know from my own experiences that it does
fine moving all the page numbers to the top if all of them are at
the bottom of the pages. It's the pattern where it alters from
top to bottom every other page that has me worried.

Well, Judy, I'm sure you have checked the manual, but it says that a page number can be at either the top or bottom of a page and that you don't have to move those at the bottom to the top. I was surprised by this fact because it is so hard to keep everything in the manual straight in my head.

Just for anyone's reference who is interested, here is the link:

Hope this answer is not too basic.

Well, hopefully the automated tools won't miff it up. They actually work quite well, but this is a rather unusual pattern so I'd rather check and be safe than sorry. smile.

I'd rather not fix them, that's for sure! grin.

Sounds like a blast fixing everyone other one. Not. Hope you don't have to!
