Oops, that was suppoosed to be..Would they still be headers if they're at the
bottom of the page?

Anyway, there are a number of ways to remove headers. If you're going to read
through the book, you can just take them out as you read along. Or, even if you
are going to read through it, it can be faster to check each page for it's
header and remove it individually. You can also use a global search and replace
to replace the header with nothing. The potential problem with this is that if
the header is a title, it may appear in the text of the book, and a search and
replace will remove all instances of it, including in the text of the book.
I've seen cases where this could happen. You can still use a search and
replace, but you just have to check each instance to make sure it's not part of
the text before deleting it.

I actually meant headers, not footers, as per my last message! The question
is still, do you as validaters leave them in, or take them out..? And, if you
take them out, what is a god way to do that?

  Thanks,
