That's a good point, but for just that reason I do forward new wish list new requests that I get to the volunteer list, so if they're sent directly to me I can forward them and that should cut down the traffic on the list. Also, once I get the list in better browsable shape I can send it as an attachment once or twice a month, as suggested, to the volunteer list. plus it's posted on the bookshare site for anyone to check who's looking for a book to scan. Cindy Wish List (i.e., books wanted added to the collection) and books-being-scanned list available at sites below Wish List: https://wiki.benetech.org/display/BSO/Bookshare+Wish+List Books Being Scanned List: https://wiki.benetech.org/display/BSO/Books+Being+Scanned+List --- On Fri, 9/11/09, Melissa Smith <mdsmith25@xxxxxxxx> wrote: From: Melissa Smith <mdsmith25@xxxxxxxx> Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Re: Holding Down the Traffic To: bksvol-discuss@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Date: Friday, September 11, 2009, 8:45 AM I would simply have thought that you would be more likely to get a wish list book scanned by posting it on here, with all the volunteers that would see it. I feel pretty sure that many do not check the wish list very often, and would be more swift to respond to a request posted on this list.
