Hi Jamie, Don't know if any other answers have been sent yet, I assume you
are using M S Word and if so my experience may help here. First go to the
properties menu and check the size of your file. If it is in the
multi-mega-byte range it is probably the cause of your difficulties, If so
try the following. Replace the page breaks with some sort of marker such as
five stars, something that doesn't occur in the text, and convert back to a
text file, and save. You will lose all the junk formatting that Microsoft
drops into the file, close but don't save as you want to preserve your
original file. Now open the new text file and replace the markers with
page-breaks and resave with a new name and as a R T F file. This should drop
all the junk from the file. HTH Tom

I spent quite a while validating CRITICAL QUESTIONS Invention, Creativity, and the Criticism of Discourse and Media
because it had paragraph marks at the end of each line and had many other difficulties (words with th in them had di instead of th like dieir for their or diey for they or anodier for another).
But now I have been trying to upload it for 2 days and it just is not working. I wonder if Bookshare is having difficulties or is it just me? I thought perhaps it was because I converted it to rtf when it was originally a txt file but that didn't seem to make any difference.
Is it Bookshare, or is it me?
