Hi, Cindy! Actually, we have both. <Smile> Since there's no way to tell
who is most likely to be reading the books, I for one would appreciate
descriptions of illustrations whenever possible. The amount of detail you
give is up to you. I haven't read these particular books, so I'm not sure
how much detail is needed.
Shelley, maybe whoever validates your scans will be able to add picture
descriptions. Of course, they're not required, and we will all appreciate
the stories anyway. <Smile>
Take care!
Jana
--Shelley, when you do these children's books with your friend, do you include descriptions of the illustrations, and if so, in how much detail? The two you asked for are primarily picture books, and, though I'm halfway through with Cloudy, and I am including descriptions, but I'm wondering how detailed to get -- or if the story's enough and kids can use their own imaginations. It occurs to me that if blind parents are reading to sighted kids the kids can describe the pictures and it would be good exercise. Of course, if kids are reading to themselves, that's another matter.
