Hi all, In case you didn't get this before, Roger. Here's how to find your files. 1. Go to My Computer. 2. Press 'enter'. 3. Go to local disk C. 4. Press 'enter'. 5. Press the letter O to get to Openbk7. or whatever version. 6. Press 'enter'. 7. Press the letter u for users. 8. Press 'enter'.9. Choose the default unless you have your own files. I'd check default first.
10. Press ctrl-spacebar if the default isn't selected. 11. Press 'enter'. 12. Press the letter l for Library.13. In there you will find your Open Book folders. I'm assuming you know where your books are stored, probably either in General, the default folder, or Books. Press 'enter' on the appropriate folder.
14. Arrow down till you find your file. Voila, hope this is clear? Ann P. Original message:
Remember the discussion I just had with Kim about being technically ignorant and the long and hard effort to learn how to use a computer? Well, that is something I have not yet taught myself. I just looked in "my computer" and clicked Open Book and found a large number of files that, as far as I know, did not have anythig to do with text files. Can You give me detailed instructions on how to look in my Open Book directory on my hard drive and how to recover the file I want if I find it.
