Oh well, as I make my way through the book from the beginning again it may be rather tedious, but at least rereading a book immediately after reading it lets one know the book pretty well. Hi Roger!Oh, man, what a sinking feeling you must have had. OpenBook 7 has never lost my book, and I don't know about any later versions. I'm just writing to express my understanding and sympathy. Each time you are done scanning, make sure you put a backup somewhere else than where OpenBook saved it so that you don't have to start over like this again.Debby At 08:52 PM 12/24/2009, Roger Loran Bailey wroteI have been scanning February 1965, The Final Speeches by Malcolm X. It is a 293 page book and I have been scanning it two pages at a time and checking each and every page before going on to the next one. That is very careful and slow work and I have gotten almost halfway through it. I didn't get a chance to work on it yesterday or today until just now. I just opened my Open Book to do some work on it and it is not there. There is not a sign of it. I surely don't remember deleting it or anything else in my Open Book, but I even checked my recycle bin. It was empty, but then I think I did empty it yesterday. I am not so much asking for help because I don't know that any of you can offer advice on this problem, so I suppose I am just venting. This is a terrible feeling. Where is the book I have done so much work on? "I distrust those people who know so well what God wants them to do because I notice it always coincides with their own desires." - Susan B.
