Hi Roger!

Before you give up. Look in your OpenBook directory on your hard drive. The
same thing has happened to me, and I was able to find the document that way.
Many times I have not been able to do so however.

Now when I scan I copy each page into an rtf Word document. Time consuming
to be sure, but more reliable.

Good luck.

Blessings.

Lynnsky

Subject: [bksvol-discuss] Aargh! What happened?!

I have been scanning February 1965, The Final Speeches by Malcolm X. It is a
293 page book and I have been scanning it two pages at a time and checking
each and every page before going on to the next one. That is very careful
and slow work and I have gotten almost halfway through it. I didn't get a
chance to work on it yesterday or today until just now. I just opened my
Open Book to do some work on it and it is not there. There is not a sign of
it. I surely don't remember deleting it or anything else in my Open Book,
but I even checked my recycle bin. It was empty, but then I think I did
empty it yesterday. I am not so much asking for help because I don't know
that any of you can offer advice on this problem, so I suppose I am just
venting. This is a terrible feeling. Where is the book I have done so much
work on?
