This is a good idea, Valerie. I can see some one taking advantage of being allowed several books, but for some proofers, they really have a need for more than 5. Personally, I never have more than 2 or 3, because I'm usually working on books I've scanned as well, and I know I wouldn't get to them in a timely manner. I would perhaps make it to where Carrie, or someone has to make the switch to allow for more books, because, if you had a jiffy proofer, they could get to 20 pretty quickly. Especially the stories I've heard of those that checked them out and uploaded them within a few hours. Anyway, I do think there are some valid reasons for more books.

I think beginners, people with fewer than say, 20 completed projects, should be

7-10 so as to help others and still maintain a balance and good workflow.

There will be many problems, regardless, and I am fortunate that Doug will pick up my books when I don't have room and release them when I do have time.

I can't even check out to reject.

I'm asking for opinions. How many think having a max of 5 in a prrof pile is too few; would10 be too many? 6 or 7? Cindy
