Arrived at Mitchell Lake at daylight to find that all of the waders in the area are roosting on the north end of Mitchell by the duck banding station. The juvenile white Ibis was present as were approximately 300 Great/Snowy egrets and 100 great blue herons. The same mix of about 150-200 shorebirds(mostly killdeer and pecs) were there as well, with Stilt sandpiper being the highlight. Spent the morning on the Miss River with Brainard and Mark and will let them post those highlights. The Ibis was still present at 1:30 this afternoon directly across from the duck banding station in the stump bed. Good birding Scott Record Ragland KY
