The precipitation finally stopping I headed for Highland Creek.

Having spotted a YCNH at Gentle Pond the other day I hoped to spot some at 
Highland Creek where they have nested before.
Success: I found 4 there. JPGs with eBird report.
I did see one gathering a twig, but no nests yet. It did seem that there were 2 
pairs.

I kept hearing a call that I did not recognize: sounded like a Barred Owl. But 
it was like a short “wooo” about every 30 to 90 seconds. Never could find it.
I did hear 1 distinct Barred Owl call. But only once.
