I am leading a Beckham Bird Club field trip to the Sauerheber Unit of Sloughs
WMA in Henderson County tomorrow. The trip is slated to meet at 830 am CDT and
is our bi-annual "marshing" trip for rails and marsh sparrows.
Tomorrow's weather looks absolutely dreadful for wading thru belly deep weeds
and shallow water for marsh birds. That has me debating about alternative plans.
We *will* meet at Sauerheber at 830 am CDT, but based on conditions, radar,
etc., we might scratch the "marshing" activities in favor of some other general
birding.
If you are planning on attending this field trip, you might email me off
listserv so I can keep you in the loop on my thinking as of this evening/early
tomorrow morning.
